Training in general
Or how no the throw the same shot every time. One of my biggest problems is I cant get away from one shot the shield side flat shot/wrap almost always followed by the a high cross. Any tips to not throw this or more to the point to not throw this for every single shot. Also since I moved to an area were I don't really know people any general tips on keeping sharp in general.

Re: Training in general
You could start baiting and feinting...
Or shield kicks

Re: Training in general
feints and baiting, sound like a good plan to me. That's the last good advice that I gave to someone that ended up working really well.

Re: Training in general
When I find myself in a shot-throwing rut, I like to make a conscious effort to not throw that shot at all for a while. Practice just throwing other stuff. You will feel a bit clunky in your fighting if you have been doing it for a while, but the payout is worth it.
As for keeping sharp while fighting new people, the best advice I have is to never fight at a lowered skill. Don't go easy on them. If you are beating them quickly all the time, switch to a combo that puts you at a disadvantage. Single blue or use a much smaller shield than you are used to. This will be better for you, and it will help them by letting them fight someone better.
