Re: So, we need a fabric wall...
Considering the distance between Liika and I, she was so kind as to forward me the monies to purchase a significant yardage of muslin.
Waiting on the monies to clear in my account...*sigh* national city is for sux.
but yay work discounts!
I assume I'll be toting the material to Rag, which is totally ok. Just keep in mind that Deagan and I have really no idea what time we'll be arriving. He is the most impossible person to wake up in the morning...so if we get there after noon, it'll be good timing...unfortunately.
If anyone needs/wants to get ahold of me and bug the crap out of me sunday morning, that might get the point across to him better than my nagging would.

Re: So, we need a fabric wall...
Ryna's got the fabric and I'm gonna pick up the wooden stakes, pvc, and spray paint tomorrow. This is all great and things, but I just realized that we never figured out how to attach the fabric to the poles. Any ideas?
Ryna, will you be at practice this Thursday?

Re: So, we need a fabric wall...
If the fabric is exactly the size of the poles, it might be best to make small pockets in the fabric for the poles to go into. Sense we will have the same area as we did last year, we will have electricity, and if anyone is able to get a sewing machine there, we can use that. Just an idea there.
If they are longer than the poles, then rope would be the best way. I can help out with this when we all get there.

Re: So, we need a fabric wall...
We will have electricity for a sewing machine?!?!?!
I'm bringing mine, then. Even if it's not needed for wall construction....I'm still bringing my machine!

We have limited electricity.... 1 outlet, I believe, we have to be polite about its use too... a while ago someone brought in an air conditioner for their tent (seriously) and blew a fuse that knocked out several camps!
Luckily I'm pretty confident AC machin> sewing machine in terms of power use

Re: So, we need a fabric wall...
The poles will be 60" long and the fabric is 45".
Ps. Does anyone have one of these ? I'm thinking it may be a good way to make holes/break up the ground so that the poles can be put in.
