Re: Those going to Badon Hill, a MUST READ

Yes, during the day, it looks to be great for fighting. I am mostly worried about how cold it will get at night for some people.

Personally, I can sleep in just about any weather, but I really don't want to see someone get sick, that is all.

At least it won't be raining all weekend like last year. If nthing else we will be cold and dry, instead of cold and wet.

When it gets cold at night, I'd advise hitting up a Rite-Aid, Dollar Store, or Walmart. No, not to camp out, but to buy these 'heating pad' sort of things.

When you open them, the air activates them, and they heat up. They come in several forms, I know there's some that are little pouches for glove inserts or just to play hot potato with, ones that can warm your back, as well as ones for legs/arms, and for shoes, too.

These things get hot. They keep you hot for a good amount of time, too, probably long enough to make it the night or atleast fall asleep if it's too cold to go to sleep but decent enough that you know you won't freeze to death. They're nice and warm to keep you warm during nighttime, too, when you're not sleeping but just chillin' around. I use them for marching band, and they come CHEAP. 8 bucks I think can furnish your entire body with them. The hand ones don't get as incredibly warm as I'd like them to, but I enjoy sticking them inside my gloves and enjoying warm hands. And the feet ones?

They're godly. Trust me. You can't go through warm weather without them in your shoes. They come in orange packages, and they're usually on sale. Pick up several and bring them to Badon, I'd advise, and bring extras for others, too. They're godsends and a half.

And now, to make this post motherly--

Once you finish with your heating pouches, always remember to dispose properly of them!

May your trees at Badon be green, and your animals not warmed artificially by your trash.
