Traffic Info

Just to let you all know, there is a lot of construction on the turnpike from Ohio to Penn.

I've been back and forth a lot over the past few months, if you are there at the wrong time.... long delays. And they are cracking down on speeders. (its a 55 zone almost all the way from the border to Pittsburgh)

oh

its 50 cents to leave the ohio turnpike and 3 bucks to go onto the Penn.

Good luck and die well boys and girls!

Gunny,

What areas are you talking about? I HAVE to be at the campgrounds no later than noon, and if I can, try to find a route around that. If not, well then I will have to leave earlier then. If I am able to find a better route for everyone, I will post it on here. See everyone soon.

there.

just it normaly takes 1.5 hours to get to PA from Boardman (Youngstown) and last time I went up, two weeks ago, it took 2 hours and change with all the "active" workzones and speed traps.

Ok, thanks Gunny. It looks like I just better leave earlier then try to find a different route.

For everyone who would like to know about any other bad spots on the way, I can give you a call, or text you a message. I will need your numbers however. I will see if I can use my phone to put a post on the forum, but I don't think I can. See everyone soon.

Speaking of driving last year.....

Getting lost for about an hour seemed to be the norm for most people... and we even ha d acar load drive ALL the way out there, never find it, and just turn around and go home.

For GOD'S SAKES bring a map, have phone numbers of the campsite, prapre your route, and have other people you can call for help (whether they're already there and/or someone you can call with internet access to help you out).

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be prepared, don't ruin your awesome vacation becuase of bad roadtrip planning :-)
