Re: Important! Facts of The Continent / Help with Stories.
I read earlier that characters from Edheliu weren't allowed until certain information was announced. Is that still true? The character I had in mind for myself is an elf with a very blurry history, since he was taken to the continent at a very young age, remembering very little about his home. My character would remember some of the landscape, his mother and father, and a terrible, terrible war that required him to leave. Of course, he had no idea what it was at the time or who transported him to The Continent.

Re: Important! Facts of The Continent / Help with Stories.
Just got done reading all 18 pages.. Lots of info.. Lots of my questions were answered..
On the original post, the links are broken. Someone (sorry for not remembering who) posted links to maps, but when I saved and zoomed in to see in better detail (not to mention to read the smaller text), it got all blurry and pixel-ey and unreadable.
So.. I am going to ask here.. Was there any small farming villages, like very small, tight knit style, that ended up getting burnt down in a bandit raid?
If not, is there any part of the Continent that is still unknown to where a place like that could be created?

The Continent is a pretty big place, and while there's a lot of information on the full map, I don't think it's comprehensive by any means. There's always room for someone to add something new.
There's no village along the lines of what you described (at least, not to my knowledge), but don't let that stop you. A farming village is a minor thing - just invent one and stick it somewhere on The Continent.

Re: Important! Facts of The Continent / Help with Stories.
Thanks Yozomiri, I will do that.. I mean, the village will be relitively small, and then practically vanishing after say 120-230 years of being there.. (because of a fire brought on by bandits)

Re: Important! Facts of The Continent / Help with Stories.
From earlier posts, the Continent is almost the size of the US. Now the US doesnt seem that large sometimes, but what i did to get a better idea was I went to mapquest and just looked around. Zoom in and out on states and countries. It is pretty mind boggling how large everything actually is. Now imagine traveling by horseback or foot from one side of the US to the other. It takes time. So a small village in the middle of nowhere, is very easily possible. ;p

I heard there was a space elf from the future chillin in Belfalas, whisperin visions of things to come in the ear of the Mad Merchant.
