A matter of Alliances
Hail Eryndor. As you may or may not know, there has been much talk amongst both Myrians and Eryndor that the two should be one. Indeed, it seems a fine notion. The matter to discuss is that of forming a unit, as many of our people would not feel the full sense of satisfaction in playing their charecters to the exact specifcations of your chapter. So, my proposal is this: Myria, as a unit of Eryndor, could represent the wilder more tribal people of Dugwaur, or perhaps just tribes of wilder men from somewhere else on the continent. The tribemen have come to Eryndor when the black orcs spread to their native lands, and seek an alliance until the time that both lands are free of the foul beasts. While this is certainly just an idea, I think it would be a fun new twist the the story of the crusade. Tell me what your thoughts are on this, especially Mithris, Athron and Daeris.

Re: A matter of Alliances
Personally, I think that would be really cool. Just a thought, but we could possibly have the event on the 13th have somthing to do with meeting you guys. Maybe we're being attacked by black orcs and about to be squished when you guys come in as the calvary and save the day. Anyways, I'd like to see it although I'm still waiting for Mithris to figure out where all of us oriental people are supposed to be from in the world.

Re: A matter of Alliances
Yeah that is the same idea I had. That's why I was hoping to get some kind of discussion going so we can work out the details before the event. If not, it's cool we'll still be there.
As for Orientals...that's not really my thing. I'm more into Scandinavian/European Dark Age Barbaric tribes

Re: A matter of Alliances
While Eryndor does not have any official units we are happy to have regional units such as tribes from Dugwaur, soldiers of Hithdor, desert warriors from the Parparth, and other stuff like that. There are some warriors we have already met from Dugwaur including the brothers Breeze and Amaro, and the female warrior Sora. Read more about each area at our website: www.angelfire.com/mi4/eryndor/webintro.html
Should you decide to be a part of the Eryndor Cruisade you know that you are welcome. Come speak with any High Council member when our hands aren't full and let us know your place in Eryndor and how you see the "regional units" story playing out.

Re: A matter of Alliances
Is there a reason that Eryndor doesn't want any official units? Just wondering.

Well...I play on and off. I pretty much quit because of all the hacking though. Why?

Re: A matter of Alliances
Warriors of Myria!
First and foremost, as you know, the High Council likes to speak as one unified voice for all of those from Eryndor.
And, I would like to say, that while we as Eryndor have never formally sat and palavered face-to-face with your leaders of Myria, the sheer notion that the two chapters have enough mutual respect to consider unifying in some way is indeed quite wonderful.
As it stands, let us consider Nov. 13 as an opportunity for both of the leaders to meet as brothers for the first time. Mayhap our discussions will lead toward a formal unity, perhaps it will not. Either way, the 'good vibe' between the two chapters is a wonderful thing, and I look forward anxiously to the opportunity to share our various viewpoints regarding the best way to further the banner of both of our nations.
And, as always, please feel free to IM me personally at AthronofEryndor on AIM if you'd like to personally chat. I'm not always at my desk, but I'm always online. If you would like a personal repsonse and I am not present, please just leave your e-mail address as well.
